Sana'a: In the Maeen district of the capital Sana'a, a cultural awareness event was held on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution under the slogan "Freedom and Independence". The participants, led by the scholar Taha al-Hadri, stressed that the revolution represented a qualitative leap in Yemen's modern history, as it ended foreign tutelage and dependency, and restored the decision to the people. They pointed out that before the revolution, Yemen was suffering from bombings, assassinations, security chaos, and direct interference by the US embassy in state affairs.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event highlighted the achievements of the revolution at the military and technical levels, as Yemen has become a force to be reckoned with, and stressed its role in supporting Gaza and the Palestinian people. The interventions stressed the importance of unifying ranks, confronting foreign conspiracies, and warning against cooperation with the Zionists and the Americans. It was emphasized that the September 21 revolution is a comprehensive revolution that did not cut anyone off, and that preserving its gains is a shared national responsibility.
