Cultural Event in Al-Mina District Commemorates Martyrdom of Imam Zaid

Al-mina: Al-Mina district in Hodeida governorate hosted a cultural and educational event to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid ibn Ali, peace be upon him, under the slogan "Insight and Jihad."

According to Yemen News Agency, the event, held at al-Saeed Complex, featured a keynote address by the governorate's education sector official, Omar Bahr, who underscored the significance of the occasion. Bahr described it as a moment of grief over a great loss, while also reaffirming the nation's responsibility to uphold the values and covenant embodied by Imam Zaid.

He emphasized the pivotal role of the education sector in shaping minds and spirits based on awareness and insight. Bahr noted that the life of Imam Zaid serves as a guiding light for the nation in adhering to truth, making sacrifices, and standing against injustice, tyranny, and arrogance.

Bahr urged the public, especially the youth, to follow Imam Zaid's example in promoting virtue, rejecting wrongdoing, and cultivating a spirit of cultural and jihadist awareness. He further emphasized that commemorating this anniversary strengthens revolutionary consciousness and reaffirms the connection to faith-based identity.

He stated that remembering Imam Zaid's sacrifices nurtures resilience in the face of ongoing aggression and hostile projects.
