Munsa: The village of Munsa in the sub-district of Bani Makram in Hamdan district of Sana'a governorate witnessed a cultural event on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday, in the presence of the Presidential Committee and a number of officials and dignitaries. Zaid Al-Gharsi, Head of the Department of Cultural and Media Affairs at the Presidential Office, highlighted the significance of the Mawlid celebration, viewing it as an opportunity to explore the Prophet's biography and emulate his morals. He emphasized the need to consolidate the Quranic culture to protect future generations from cultural invasion.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event is part of the preparations for the main celebration on the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal. Sheikh Zamam Al-Munsi noted that the Mawlid celebration serves as a renewal of loyalty to God and His Messenger. The event also featured a poetic recital, expressing the love of Yemenis for the Prophet and their deep attachment to him.
