Raymah: Cultural and public speaking events were organized on Sunday across the districts of Raymah Governorate on the occasion of the annual anniversary of the passing of the scholar Sayyid Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

According to Yemen News Agency, the events were attended by official, mobilization, and community figures. The speeches highlighted the loss the nation suffered with the passing of the scholar Sayyid Badr al-Din al-Houthi, describing him as one of Yemen’s most prominent irreplaceable scholars and one of the leading figures of Islam in the present era.

The speeches considered the commemoration of this anniversary an important educational occasion to recall the lessons presented by al-Houthi as an integrated faith-based school filled with life, knowledge, generosity, awareness of challenges, and all the needs of the current stage.

They also reviewed the virtues of Sayyid Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who was described as an intellectual, Islamic, and cultural encyclopedia, with many important writings, and for his commitment to purifying, reforming, and enlightening society.
