Sa'afan: The districts of Sa'afan, al-Tayal, and Arhab in Sana'a governorate on Tuesday hosted cultural and oratory events to commemorate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday for the year 1447 AH. In Sa'afan district, the local authority, in coordination with the General Mobilization, organized a keynote event attended by District Director Mohammed al-Bahr.
According to Yemen News Agency, Judge Mohammed al-Oqaidah, head of the Sa'afan Court, highlighted the significance of public engagement in the occasion. He described it as a spiritual milestone that strengthens the bond with the Prophet and encourages emulating his words and actions. He emphasized that the commemoration embodies adherence to the Prophet's values and his eternal message that illuminated the path of guidance for humanity. He also called for thorough preparation for upcoming events and for villages and communities to display joy befitting the status of the Prophet. The event was attended by several executive office directors, tribal sheikhs, and educational and social figures.
In al-Tayal district, a keynote ceremony was held to launch the commemoration's activities and programs, attended by District Director Hilal Mu'eid. He underscored the importance of renewing loyalty to God and His Messenger, following the Prophet's path in confronting falsehood, and upholding the banner of truth. District guidance official Ali Al-Dumaini and activist Faisal Taher stated that celebrating the Prophet's birth is an act of obedience to God and a reflection of true love for the Prophet.
In Arhab district, the Office of Endowments organized a keynote event where District Director Khaled al-Oqaidah and Endowments Director Lutfi al-Jundabi stressed the importance of honoring and venerating the Prophet. They urged the public to actively participate in the celebrations, noting the spiritual significance of the events in promoting awareness of Quranic teachings and following the Prophet's example.
