Hodeidah: Residents of Al-Mahallah in Rabsaa district, Al-Marawi'ah Directorate, Hodeidah Governorate, organized a cultural gathering to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein under the slogan 'Never to Humiliation.'
According to Yemen News Agency, Sheikh Abdul Latif Zalil, speaking at the event attended by mobilization representatives and social figures, emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from the tragedy of Karbala in confronting oppression and supporting the oppressed. He described Ashura as an annual occasion to reaffirm the values of truth and justice for which Imam Hussein sacrificed his life, urging adherence to these principles in facing the challenges confronting the Islamic nation.
Rabsaa Mobilization Official Mohammed Kadam highlighted the significance of commemorating Imam Hussein's martyrdom, drawing inspiration from his courage, sacrifice, and noble values. He stated that the sacrifices made by the Yemeni people today in the 'Promised Victory and Holy Jihad' battle reflect Imam Hussein's stance against injustice and tyranny.
City District Mobilization Official Zakaria Qorashi emphasized that adherence to the Quranic approach and awareness remains the path to the triumph of truth over falsehood, praising the engagement of Al-Marawi'ah residents in mobilization and cultural activities.
Meanwhile, educator Mohammed Omeirah noted that commemorating the occasion renews the spirit of giving and sacrifice in the service of Allah, the defense of the nation's sovereignty and independence, calling for continued mobilization in support of just causes.
