Al-qubaytah: The local authority and the General Mobilization Department in Al-Qubaytah District, Lahj Governorate, organized a cultural and oratorical evening to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) for the year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was held at Al-Ahdal Mosque in Al-Shuaib village, Al-Hajar sub-district. Speeches during the evening emphasized the deep emotional and spiritual connection of the Yemeni people to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and their historical distinction in commemorating this religious occasion with fervor that reflects their faith.
The Prophet's birthday was considered an opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet's noble life, solidifying values of compassion and solidarity, and emulating his path in facing challenges and strengthening resilience. The speeches stressed that expressions of celebration and joy are but a small token compared to the immense debt owed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and the duty to adhere to his message. They called upon district and governorate residents to mobilize and participate in a major central event in Al-Hawban Square in Taiz Governorate on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
The evening included various segments and expressive poems.
