Taiz: The General Directorate of Cultural and Social Activity at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in coordination with the Youth and Sports Office in Taiz Governorate, organized a cultural program alongside the Martyr Mohamed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari Football Championship for local clubs.
According to Yemen News Agency, the championship features the clubs Ajyal Maqbana, Shabab Al-Dimna, Al-Tali'ah, Ahli Taiz, Shabab Al-Rahda, Al-Siham, and Shabab Mawiya. It is supervised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Taiz Governorate, with funding from the Youth and Sports Support Fund.
The cultural program included an awareness lecture delivered by Sheikh Magdy Mohamed Hael, Director of the Quran Memorization Office in Taiz, in which he highlighted the life of Martyr Mohamed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, his national and military contributions, and his qualities of responsibility, discipline, military planning, and development.
He emphasized that the martyr left a lasting national legacy that will remain present in the memory of generations.
The program also featured patriotic and inspiring musical performances during halftime, expressing love for the homeland, pride in Yemeni identity, and honoring the sacrifices of martyrs, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and uplifting the spirits of the attending audience.
