Al-jabin: The local authority and the General Mobilization Department in Al-Jabin District, Raymah province, organized a cultural seminar on Thursday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) under the slogan "Insight and Jihad."
According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar was attended by Hassan Al-Amri, the Secretary-General of the Local Council in the province, and focused on three key themes: the life and virtues of Imam Zaid, lessons from his revolution and its objectives, and the contents of his message addressed to scholars.
In the first session, Muhammad Al-Nahari, the General Mobilization official in the governorate, highlighted Imam Zaid's upbringing, strong faith, piety, and deep connection with the Holy Quran, earning him the title "Ally of the Quran." He emphasized that Imam Zaid represents a model for cultural revival and correcting misconceptions, urging people to follow the path of this revolutionary Imam in both approach and morals.
Radwan Al-Hadidi, the mobilization official in the district, led the second session, discussing the historical context of Imam Zaid's movement and the objectives of his revolution in raising awareness and breaking the stagnation and subjugation imposed by tyrants. He warned of the dangers of lack of awareness, which facilitates societal deception and misguidance, making it easier for oppressors to dominate.
The third session, presented by cultural activist Muhammad Fadil, focused on Imam Zaid's message to scholars. It was based on a thorough analysis of reality and represented an enlightening, reformist intellectual project rooted in deep insight and conviction.
