Sana'a: The Mobilization Committee in Al-Safiyah District of the capital organized a cultural seminar marking the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and International Quds Day under the slogan: "With the Guardianship of Al-Karrar, We Will Liberate Al-Aqsa from the Evil Zionists."

According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar was attended by Deputy Minister of Finance Nasser Al-Hamdani, ministry deputies Jamal Al-Daees, assistant Walid Faye', and Adviser to the Capital Secretary Mohammad Ahmed. The event featured Sheikh Khalid Musa, Assistant Secretary-General of the Yemeni Scholars Association, who highlighted Imam Ali's significant role in supporting Islam and the Prophet of the Nation (peace be upon him and his family). He discussed Imam Ali's efforts in consolidating the foundations of the Islamic state and confronting disbelief and tyranny.

Sheikh Musa also addressed Imam Ali's courage, values, and principles, emphasizing his dedication to upholding the banner of Islam and supporting the oppressed. He stressed the importance of commemorating Imam Ali's martyrdom to draw lessons from his life, follow his path, and support the causes and holy sites of the Ummah, particularly the Palestinian cause and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Sheikh Mohammad Alaw, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, emphasized the significance of marking International Quds Day. He pointed out that the ongoing targeting of the Arab and Islamic Ummah is intended to eliminate the Palestinian cause and enable the Zionist-American enemy to implement settlement schemes and control the region.

Sheikh Alaw affirmed the necessity for the Ummah to adhere to resistance and struggle against the occupying enemy and oppose Zionist settlement projects. The seminar concluded with statements renewing allegiance to Imam Ali and reviving the spirit of steadfastness and victory for the Palestinian cause and Islamic holy sites.
