Cultural Seminar in Al-Thawra District Commemorates Battle of Badr

General

Al-thawra: The Mobilization Authority in Al-Thawra District, Capital Secretariat, organized a cultural seminar in commemoration of the historic Battle of Badr under the slogan 'The Day of Criterion.'

According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar was attended by the Director of Al-Thawra District, Aqeel Al-Saqqaf, and the district's mobilization official, Saddam Al-Hababi. Cultural activist Taha Abkar highlighted that the memory of the Battle of Badr marked the victory of the oppressed Muslims who believed in the message of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

He explained that the Battle of Badr represented divine support for Islam against the arrogance of the Quraysh, creating a major historical turning point for Muslims-from a state of weakness, oppression, and injustice to one of honor, dignity, and the triumph of truth.

Abkar noted that Islam today is experiencing significant transformations, beginning with the Al-Aqsa flood, the sacrifices of the people of Gaza defending the cause of the Islamic and Arab nation of Al-Quds, the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas leaders, and continuing to the present with the martyrdom of Iran's revolutionary leader, Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

He stated that the confrontation between Israel and the U.S. in their war against Iran shows that the Zionists are fighting Islam and planning to eliminate anyone who dares oppose them. This requires everyone to be aware of their responsibilities and prepared to confront the Zionists and work toward the liberation of Palestine.

The cultural activist emphasized that God has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds victory in His holy book. Muslims must hold firmly to the Qur'an and raise the banner of jihad, which remains a path to the dignity and honor of the Islamic nation.

He also touched on aspects of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him and his family) life, summarizing them in faith, migration, and jihad-principles that Muslims should adhere to and practically implement in their lives.
