Taiz: Abdulwasea Al-Shamsi, Deputy Governor of Taiz, inspected on Wednesday the level of performance and employee discipline in several executive offices across the governorate during the holy month of Ramadan. Al-Shamsi, accompanied by Abdulrahman Al-Areqi, Director of the Civil Service and Administrative Development Office in the governorate, reviewed the level of workplace discipline in the Public Health and Environment Office, the General Authority for Transport, and the General Authority for Land.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Shamsi and Al-Areqi praised the commitment and diligence they observed among the staff in carrying out their duties during the holy month. They emphasized that this dedication reflects a strong sense of responsibility and awareness of the vital service role performed by state institutions.
They also urged employees to further intensify their efforts, adhere to laws, administrative regulations, and maintain high standards of institutional performance, thereby enhancing government efficiency and providing optimal services to citizens.
In a related context, Deputy Governor Al-Shamsi and the Director of the Civil Service Office reviewed the progress of expansion and equipment works at Taiz General Hospital in the Al-Jund area. They received a briefing from Dr. Mohammed Al-Ezzi, Director of the Governorate Health Office, on ongoing expansion and equipment projects, including the preparation of operating rooms, a 30-bed intensive care unit, the enlargement of emergency and dialysis departments, additional patient wards, and the completion of laboratories and the blood bank. These developments aim to enhance the hospital's readiness to provide comprehensive medical services to residents of the governorate.
They toured the hospital departments and examined the progress in infrastructure and medical-technical equipment, affirming that Taiz General Hospital will represent a qualitative leap in healthcare services, help reduce patients' suffering, and expand specialized medical care within the governorate. They stressed that completing the project according to approved specifications and standards is a priority due to its significance in strengthening the health infrastructure and meeting the growing needs of the population.
