General

Sana'a: The subcommittee for girls' summer schools in Sana'a City discussed the necessary arrangements for implementing the general plan for summer programs and activities for the year 1447 AH. The meeting addressed the procedures and tasks required to be implemented to benefit the participants in the summer schools in various educational, cultural, and skills-based fields.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting also reviewed the strengths and weaknesses of last year's performance, aiming to capitalize on the positive aspects, address shortcomings, and improve performance and implementation. During the meeting, the head of the subcommittee, Ibtisam Al-Mahatori, emphasized the importance of summer schools in preparing the rising generation, equipping them with the culture of the Holy Quran, and strengthening their faith-based identity, thus enabling them to confront the challenges and dangers facing the nation.

She urged encouraging female students to invest their free time in developing their skills and knowledge and refining their talents, stressing the need for concerted efforts to ensure the success of the summer courses and the implementation of scientific and educational programs, alongside cultural, skills-based, and sports activities. This, she noted, will positively impact their academic and practical levels and contribute to protecting them from the dangers of soft warfare.

Al-Mahthouri emphasized the importance of approaching this summer activity with a sense of responsibility, whether at the level of parents, the community, or the staff, explaining that the ultimate goal is in the best interest of the entire community; today's generation is tomorrow's future, and caring for them is caring for the future itself. The meeting was attended by the Vice-Chair of the Sub-Committee, Ibtisam Al-Ansi, members of the committee, and heads of the executive committees.
