Al-mahwit: The Higher Institute for Training and Teacher Qualification in Al-Mahwit governorate organized a cultural seminar today in celebration of the Prophet's birthday anniversary. The event was attended by the Deputy Head of the Educational Sector in the governorate, Sharaf Al-Din Abdulrahman, alongside various educational leaders and staff.
According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar's themes focused on various aspects of the Prophetic biography, highlighting the values, principles, and significant stances it encompasses. Discussions included a review of the noble Prophet's virtues, his biography, and his pivotal role in nation-building and establishing values such as justice and solidarity.
Participants emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday serves as an opportunity to reflect on the Muhammadan biography, emulate the noble Prophet's morals, and reinforce the faith-based and educational values imparted by Islam. This commemoration aims to contribute to shaping a generation equipped with knowledge, awareness, and ethical standards.
The importance of teachers in instilling noble values and principles in the younger generations was highlighted, with a focus on fostering a faith-based identity and Quranic culture. The seminar also explored how lessons from the Prophetic biography could help address societal challenges.
In addition to these themes, the seminar addressed the issues faced by the Palestinian people, affirming a supportive stance towards their cause and their right to freedom, independence, and the restoration of legitimate rights.
Speakers at the seminar stressed the ongoing need for seminars and cultural events to enhance religious, cultural, and educational awareness among both teachers and learners. They encouraged linking the educational process with moral and human values derived from the biography of the Prophet. Furthermore, they highlighted the necessity of translating these lessons into behaviors that promote cooperation, charity, responsibility, and community service.
