Kuhlan afar: Multiple events and evening gatherings were held in Kahlan Afar District, Hajjah Governorate, on August 26, 2025, to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, in the Deqeimi and Afar subdistricts, Abdulilah Al-Muzaigar, the Deputy Director of Lands, emphasized the importance of learning from the Prophet's life, focusing on righteous conduct, fighting oppression, and promoting moral reform. He also called for the continuation of such commemorations.
In the Qaidan area, speeches highlighted the need to sincerely return to God and the Prophet by reviving his memory and acknowledging his qualities as a messenger of mercy and justice who fought against oppression and promoted equality.
The district's Security Department organized an event where officials and security leaders underscored that celebrating the Prophet's birth is a way to revive the noble values he embodied. They encouraged public displays of joy and the renewal of loyalty to God, His Messenger, and the Imams of guidance, as well as steadfastness in the face of injustice and aggression.
In Aibah, Kuhlan subdistrict, Ali Al-Qadhi, the Zakat Office Awareness Director, described the commemoration as a demonstration of reverence, gratitude, and loyalty to the Prophet, reaffirming adherence to his path and that of his family.
All events featured poetry, chants, and performances that reflected the joy and devotion associated with this religious occasion.
