Taiz Offices of Finance, Tax, & Customs Commemorate Prophet’s Birthday

Taiz: The Finance, Tax, and Customs Oversight Offices in Taiz, along with the Executive Unit for Large Taxpayers and the Real Estate and Qat Sales Tax Units, organized on Tuesday a commemorative event marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him and his family) birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Deputy Governor Mohammed al-Husseini, Head of the Large Taxpayers Unit Ali Dushfi, Head of Real Estate Tax Riyadh al-Hajj, Head of Qat Sales Tax Sadiq al-Imad, Deputy Director of Taiz Tax Authority Abdu al-Ra'i, and other officials.

In his speech, Director of Customs and Oversight in the governorate, Mohammed al-Mahfadi, emphasized that celebrating the Prophet's birth reflects the nation's connection to its noble Prophet, who transformed history and illuminated the world with his message. He stressed that the occasion is a spiritual opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet's life and to continue following his path. Al-Mahfadi noted that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) praised the people of Yemen, describing them as people of faith and wisdom. He added that Yemenis' love for the Prophet was demonstrated in actions and sacrifices in support of Islam, and they remained loyal to his teachings throughout history.

He further affirmed that the operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces against the Israeli entity in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab are a clear message of the nation's steadfastness in its principles.

For his part, Deputy Director of the Large Taxpayers Unit, Mohammed al-Junaid, highlighted the importance of strengthening attachment to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) in light of current challenges targeting the identity and faith of the Muslim nation. He called for participation in 'Al-Aqsa Flood' courses and mass mobilization for the celebrations of the Prophet's birthday, stressing the importance of continuing the economic boycott of American and Israeli goods and companies that support the enemy.
