Sha'ab district: The Omar Al-Mukhtar Medical Complex in Sha'ab District of the Capital organized a celebratory event on Tuesday to mark the Prophet Muhammad's birthday for the year 1447 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by key figures including Hamoud Al-Naqeeb, Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee of the Capital, and Ali Al-Rahbi, member of the local council. During the event, Muhammad Al-Hadrami, Secretary-General of the Local Council in Sha'ab District, underscored the significance of the celebration. He emphasized Yemen's firm support for the Palestinian people and criticized some Arab leaders for normalizing relations that he sees as a betrayal of the Palestinian cause.
Al-Hadrami also highlighted that while Yemenis celebrate to strengthen their connection to the Prophet and his teachings, some Islamic states engage in celebrations that he claims promote moral corruption and Western customs, potentially undermining religious values and the identity of future generations.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Madani, Director of the District Health Office, noted that the participation of health sector staff in the celebrations reflects an appreciation for the noble values and ethics embodied by the Prophet, demonstrating love and loyalty to him.
Dr. Khalid Omran, Deputy Director of the Medical Complex, described the event as an opportunity to deepen understanding of the Prophet's teachings and emulate his exemplary conduct.
