Saada: The residents of Saada Governorate today commemorated the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi) with a grand mass gathering in the celebration square. The crowds expressed their joy at this unprecedented momentum, affirming that the Yemeni people's relationship with the Greatest Messenger is one of emulation, guidance, and following.
According to Yemen News Agency, the masses condemned the repeated insults to the Holy Quran and the noble Prophet by the Zionist Jews, and affirmed that the Yemeni people are proceeding on the path of freedom and independence, and will not remain silent about the violation of sanctities or any aggression against them.
The crowds chanted slogans and hymns, considering the commemoration of the occasion a living testament to the depth of Yemenis' connection to the Prophet and their adherence to his path in confronting injustice and arrogance and supporting the oppressed, as well as an opportunity to strengthen the values of compassion and solidarity and draw lessons from his biography.
The event featured a chanting operetta and expressive poetic performances.
