Rayma:Local authorities and the mobilization office in Rayma province launched activities on Sunday to mark the annual martyr's anniversary for the year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, Local Council Secretary-General Hassan al-Omari stated that the anniversary represents humanitarian values and that the culture of martyrdom aids nations in breaking free from domination and submission. This year's commemoration, he noted, occurs amid regional and international changes and continued aggression against Yemen. It serves as a faith-based occasion to renew determination and draw lessons from the sacrifices of those killed in the conflict.
Al-Omari called on officials to organize awareness activities, seminars, and lectures in government offices, mosques, and schools throughout the province to honor the martyrs and follow their example in confronting current challenges.
Education Sector official Yaish al-Dubaibi emphasized that commemorating the martyrs is a religious, national, and moral responsibility. He stressed the importance of emulating the martyrs' patience, sacrifice, and steadfastness while also honoring their families.
