Sana'a: A commemorative event was held on Thursday in the Aras area of Yarim District, Ibb Governorate, marking the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. Presidential Advisor Dr. Saleh Shaaban emphasized the significance of this event, describing the birth of Prophet Muhammad as a pivotal moment in human history that brought guidance, mercy, and liberation from polytheism and injustice.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dhamar Governor Mohammed Al-Bukhaity spoke about the resilience of the Yemeni people amidst ongoing challenges, including aggression and siege. He noted that the continued commemoration of the Prophet's birthday reflects a deep attachment to religious identity, despite the adversities faced. Al-Bukhaity highlighted Yemen's determination to maintain its sovereignty and independence, rooted in the justice of its cause.
Ibb Deputy Governor Rakan Al-Naqeeb commended the organization of the event and encouraged residents to engage in preparations for the central celebration on Rabi' Al-Awwal 12 in Yarim City. He stressed the importance of active participation in these cultural and religious observances.
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Arasi expressed that celebrating the Prophet's birthday signifies love and loyalty to the Messenger of Allah. He urged the translation of this love into practical actions, advocating for solidarity, compassion, cooperation, and community service among the people.
