Hodeida Launches Project to Support Deaf Schools

Hodeida: Hodeida Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of Deaf People, with support from the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, launched a project Tuesday to distribute school uniforms and educational supplies to students at Al-Amal School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Al-Mina District.

According to Yemen News Agency, the project benefited 214 male and female students, providing essential educational needs to help create a suitable learning environment and encourage continued academic achievement.

Local officials highlighted the importance of supporting deaf and hard-of-hearing students and providing them with the educational resources they need, while praising the efforts of the association and the disability rehabilitation fund.
