Culture & Tourism Minister Inaugurates Art Exhibition “The Tale of Brush” from Sana’a to Gaza

Sana'a: The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ali Al-Yafai, inaugurated today the art exhibition "The Tale of a Brush" from Sana'a to Gaza, organized by a group of young creative artists.

According to Yemen News Agency, Minister Al-Yafai toured the exhibition, which will run until July 24, showcasing over 150 creative paintings by young artists. The artworks reflect the creativity and spiritual vision of the youth, depicting the events unfolding in the homeland and the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza under aggression and siege. The paintings also express Yemen's rich cultural, historical, and civilizational heritage.

The Minister expressed his satisfaction with the exhibition's organization and the young artists' innovative works, which highlight Yemen's historical and cultural legacy. He admired the expressive paintings that portray the Palestinian cause and the ongoing situation in Gaza.

He emphasized the significance of the artworks, which embody the artists' cultural awareness, love for their homeland, and solidarity with the central cause and the heroes in Gaza. Al-Yafai stressed the importance of fine art in addressing various issues concerning the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

Minister Al-Yafai affirmed the ministry's commitment to supporting fine art by organizing exhibitions, training courses, and workshops for artists, creatives, and talented students in schools and universities. He considered art, theater, poetry, and fine arts among the most vital fronts of resistance and defense of national and pan-Arab causes.
