Sana'a: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Abdul-Wahid Abu Ras affirmed on Wednesday that the party which gifted the covering of the Holy Kaaba to the criminal Epstein is the very party targeting Mecca and Islamic holy sites.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abu Ras explained that those who opened the Land of the Two Holy Mosques to debauchery and entertainment events, and who desecrated the land by allowing the presence of Zionist Jews, are the ones targeting Mecca, Medina, and Islamic holy sites.
He pointed out that those maintaining covert and overt ties with the criminal Zionist entity are the ones targeting the Noble Al-Aqsa Mosque, Mecca, and Islamic holy sites. He noted that the *Rukn al-Yamani* (Yemeni Corner of the Kaaba) symbolizes the deep connection Yemenis have with the Holy Kaaba and Islamic holy sites, and that the Yemeni people-including the "Government of Martyrs"-have made sacrifices in support of Jerusalem and these holy sites.
The Deputy Foreign Minister stated: "One of our grievances against the criminal Saudi regime is its desecration of Islamic holy sites and its support for the enemies of the [Islamic] nation." He mentioned that the Yemeni people take to the public squares in the millions whenever Islamic holy sites are insulted-whether it concerns the Holy Quran, the Great Prophet, Mecca, the Noble Al-Aqsa Mosque, or other sacred sites.
He further emphasized that no people on earth possess as much zeal regarding the desecration or disparagement of Islamic holy sites as the Yemeni people do. The Deputy Foreign Minister added: "Zionist mouthpieces should seek a different pretext to target the descendants of the Ansar [Supporters of the Prophet] other than this claim, which contradicts both current stances and historical evidence."
