Riyadh: Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulwahid Abu Ras confirmed that the Ministry followed the meeting held in Riyadh of the so-called Steering Committee for the Maritime Security Partnership in Yemen.

According to Yemen News Agency, Abu Ras indicated that the Al Saud regime remains determined to transform Riyadh into a capital from which hostile activities against Yemen and its people are launched. Instead of working to lift the blockade, cease the restrictions on Yemeni ports, and end the occupation of Yemeni lands and islands, it continues to gather mercenaries from around the world, foremost among them the US and Britain, to escalate its maritime conspiracies and establish entities falsely claiming Yemeni legitimacy.

He said, "The Al Saud regime must realize that with these hostile steps and its subservience to American, British, and other agendas, it is only sinking itself deeper into the quagmire of subservience and hostility, this will negatively impact its ambitions and economic projects, and it will suffer significant losses as a result."
