Tehran: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Abdulwahid Abu Ras sent a message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the passing of Imam Ruhollah Mousavi Khomeini.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Foreign Minister praised in his message the virtues of Imam Khomeini and what he represented as a school of thought based on confronting injustice, liberating from dependency, achieving independence, opposing global arrogance, and strengthening solidarity among the peoples of the Islamic nation. He also emphasized support for the just causes of the nation, with the Palestinian cause at the forefront.

Abu Ras noted that this anniversary comes at a time when the Islamic Republic of Iran is still facing aggression and a blockade imposed by the United States and Israel. He highlighted that the aggressors have failed to achieve their goals due to the steadfastness of the Iranian armed forces and the unity and resilience of the Iranians, who have stood firm against various plots and conspiracies.

The message concluded with Abu Ras reaffirming Yemen's stance and full solidarity with Iran and its people in confronting US-Israeli aggression.
