Al bayda: The health sector in Al Bayda Governorate organized a speech event on Saturday to commemorate Wilayah Day under the slogan: 'For whomever I am his master, Ali is his master.'
According to Yemen News Agency, Al Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris highlighted the significance of the concept of Wilayah as an expression of loyalty to Allah, His Messenger, and Imam Ali (peace be upon him). He affirmed that the victories achieved by Yemen are a result of adherence to the principle of Wilayah, emphasizing the importance of commemorating Wilayah Day for the lessons it offers in patience, sacrifice, devotion, courage, and steadfastness in the cause of Allah and the support of His religion.
Governor Idris emphasized the need to embody the character and jihadist spirit of Imam Ali in practical life, noting that loyalty to Allah, His Messenger, and Imam Ali represents a Qur'anic criterion in selecting leaders capable of confronting the enemies of the nation. He added that the large public turnout revives among believers the values of brotherhood, cooperation, solidarity, affection, and harmony, while at the same time provoking the anger of hypocrites who have accepted mercenary roles in support of what he described as the Saudi-American-Emirati aggression.
At the event, attended by Deputy Governor Abdullah Al-Jamali, Director of the Health Office Dr. Mujahid Al-Khatari, and Director of the Higher Institute of Health Sciences Dr. Ahmed Al-Baqshi, Chairman of Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority Dr. Nasser Al-Ajili described the commemoration of Wilayah Day as a continuation of the righteous path in declaring sincere loyalty to Allah, His Messenger, and Imam Ali (peace be upon him). He affirmed that the Wilayah of Imam Ali represents a natural extension of the authority of Allah Almighty and His Noble Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), embodying the authentic concept of firm and unwavering positions in confronting enemies.
Dr. Al-Ajili noted that adherence to the path of Wilayah strengthens the unity and resilience of the nation in the face of challenges. He added that commemorating the occasion reflects a practical attachment to faith-based identity and Qur'anic culture, while enhancing public awareness of the importance of following Imam Ali's example in various aspects of life.
For his part, scholar Mohammed Al-Saqqaf stated that commemorating this occasion reaffirms the loyalty of the Yemeni people to Allah and His Messenger and their strong attachment to Imam Ali (peace be upon him). He also discussed the significance of observing Wilayah Day and drawing lessons and inspiration from the life and example of Imam Ali.
