Aden: The Deputy Ministers of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources for the Fisheries Sector, Dr. Fawzi Al-Saghir, and for the Agricultural and Fisheries Marketing Sector, Mohsen Aatif, conducted an inspection on Saturday to evaluate the workflow and level of work discipline at the Fisheries Sector’s headquarters. This inspection took place on the first official working day following the blessed Eid al-Adha holiday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the inspection visit saw the two deputies touring various general departments and divisions affiliated with the Fisheries Sector, where they exchanged Eid greetings and congratulations with administrative leaders and employees. They also reviewed the performance activity and the progress of transactions from the early hours of the working day.

Dr. Fawzi Al-Saghir commended the attendance rate and the level of discipline among the sector’s employees on the first day back to work. He stressed that this commitment showcases a responsible spirit aimed at advancing the fisheries sector, which is a key pillar of food security and the national economy.

Deputy Minister Mohsen Aatif highlighted the importance of strengthening and doubling efforts to develop fisheries marketing and production mechanisms. He emphasized the need to facilitate procedures in a manner that benefits fishermen and ensures the stability of local markets as required.
