Beirut: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Abdulwahid Abu Ras has issued a stern warning to the Israeli enemy entity, cautioning against the continuation of its crimes in Lebanon. This statement comes in light of the recent targeting of a Lebanese Army military vehicle in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon, which tragically resulted in the deaths of two officers and a soldier.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Foreign Minister addressed Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, questioning his stance on the targeting of the Lebanese Army. Abu Ras posed critical questions, asking whether the Prime Minister is concerned about the ongoing war in which the Lebanese Army is being targeted.
Abu Ras further challenged the leadership residing in Baabda Palace, urging them to support the army, resistance, and people in confronting what he described as their real enemy, the criminal Zionist entity. He emphasized that this latest crime is further evidence of the Zionist enemy entity's targeting of all segments of the Lebanese population.
The Deputy Foreign Minister stressed that making concessions to the Zionist enemy only emboldens it to act more criminally and tyrannically. He reiterated that surrender under the guise of direct negotiations will not bring protection, sovereignty, security, or stability to Lebanon. As long as attacks and occupation by the Zionist enemy persist, true stability in Lebanon cannot be achieved.
Abu Ras reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering support for the Lebanese people and their resistance efforts in facing the continuous Israeli aggression against Lebanon and its people.
