Sana'a: Deputy Foreign Minister for Expatriates Affairs Abdulwahid Abu Ras sent a letter to the UN Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council regarding the Saudi regime's attack on Sana'a International Airport.
According to Yemen News Agency, the letter was circulated to UN member states, the UN General Assembly President, the European Union, the UN Special Envoy for Yemen, and Arab foreign ministers. Abu Ras stated that the attack on Sana'a Airport is seen as a continuation of Saudi aggression against Yemen, beginning with the targeting of the same airport in March 2015.
The Deputy Foreign Minister criticized Saudi Arabia for delays in implementing the Omani-mediated roadmap. He highlighted issues such as the reopening of Sana'a Airport, resolving humanitarian concerns, and fulfilling peace commitments. Abu Ras emphasized Saudi Arabia's full responsibility for the consequences of the attack, asserting the inevitability of a response and the necessity of lifting the blockade on Sana'a International Airport.
