Deputy Foreign Minister Expresses Solidarity with Hamas Leader in Gaza Strip

Sana'a: Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulwahid Abu Ras made a phone call on Tuesday to Dr. Khalil al-Hayya, head of Hamas in the Gaza Strip and head of its negotiating delegation. During the call, they discussed the latest developments on the Palestinian scene.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Foreign Minister expressed his deepest condolences to Dr. al-Hayya on the martyrdom of his son, Azzam, praying for divine mercy and admittance to Paradise. He reiterated Yemen's principled and unwavering religious stance in support of the Palestinian people and their just cause.

Abu Ras affirmed that the Palestinian cause remains the central issue for the nation and emphasized that Yemen, along with its leadership, government, and people, stands with the Palestinian people in their pursuit of legitimate rights and the establishment of an independent state with Quds as its capital.

Dr. Khalil al-Hayya praised Yemen's supportive stance towards the Palestinian people in Gaza and conveyed greetings to Leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik bin Badr al-Din al-Houthi and all the people of Yemen.
