Sana'a: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Abdulwahid Aburas sent a cable of congratulations to the Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China, Wang Yi, on the occasion of the Chinese New Year 2026. In his message, Aburas highlighted the commendable role China plays in advocating for peace in Yemen and addressing the humanitarian crisis that has persisted since the blockade and aggression began in 2015.
According to Yemen News Agency, Aburas expressed satisfaction with the historic ties between Yemen and China, emphasizing the relationship's 70-year milestone. He expressed hopes for further cooperation and development in various sectors between the two nations. Additionally, Aburas praised China's achievements across multiple sectors, extending his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for China and its people.
