Sana'a: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah on Wednesday affirmed that Yemen has become the foremost bearer of the banner in support of the oppressed worldwide. Speaking at the Conference of Yemeni Scholars in the capital Sana'a, Miftah said Yemen is no longer 'the unknown, but the known,' standing against the tyrants and pharaohs of the age.
According to Yemen News Agency, Miftah stressed that the Islamic nation looks to Yemen and its scholars, whose presence and efforts embody the spirit of the Ummah in defending Palestine, Gaza, and all the oppressed. Miftah added that God has honored Yemen with a great stance and a wise leader to represent the nation in supporting the downtrodden, particularly the Palestinians facing brutal genocide.
He called on Muslim scholars around the world to criminalize Zionism and its leaders, describing the Arab and Islamic regimes' silence on Gaza as a disgrace.
