Destroying 12 Tons of Expired Items in Al-Bayda

Al-Bayda: The Al-Bayda province has recently carried out the destruction of 12 tons of expired milk, foodstuffs, and consumables. These items were seized during a control campaign conducted across various markets.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Director of the Economy, Industry and Investment Office in the province, Ahmed Al-Tahiri, stated that the destruction was conducted after all necessary procedures were completed. The process was overseen by representatives from the concerned authorities, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulations.

Al-Tahiri emphasized the ongoing nature of the control campaign, which is actively being conducted in both the province center and its districts. He urged citizens to participate by reporting any traders who manipulate prices or engage in the sale of expired goods, highlighting the importance of community cooperation in maintaining market integrity.
