Dhamar Commemorates 12th Anniversary of 21 September Revolution

Dhamar:The Dhamar offices of Public Works and Youth and Sports, together with the General Authority for Land Transport Regulation, organized a speech event on Monday to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the 21 September Revolution.

According to Yemen News Agency, Waseem Al-Khaiwani, Deputy Director of the Public Works Office, emphasized the national significance of the anniversary. He highlighted the revolution's commitment to freedom, independence, dignity, and national sovereignty, asserting that it aimed to end foreign dominance and restore national decision-making. Al-Khaiwani noted that the achievements in this regard were a result of steadfastness and sacrifices.

He also mentioned that recent aggression and blockades against Yemen were attempts to undermine the revolution's objectives. He praised the military achievements and urged continued efforts to end foreign intervention and restore Yemen's sovereignty and resources.

Additionally, Ahmed Hamed, Deputy Director of the Land Transport Regulation branch, described the 21 September Revolution as a popular movement arising from Yemen's deteriorating conditions. He stated that it played a role in restoring freedom, independence, and national sovereignty. Hamed pointed out that the revolution was driven by the people's suffering amid worsening economic, security, and social conditions, and he stressed the importance of maintaining steadfastness and fulfilling institutional responsibilities.
