Dhamar: The Dhamar province branches of the General Authority for Water Resources and Facilities and the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families held a commemorative event on Saturday to mark the upcoming anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday (Mawlid).
According to Yemen News Agency, Province Undersecretary Mahmoud Al-Jabin spoke at the event, emphasizing the occasion as a testament to Yemenis' deep connection to the Prophet Muhammad and their religious identity. Al-Jabin noted that the event serves as an opportunity to reinforce values of love and adherence to the Prophet's example, while also expressing a determination to address ongoing challenges and oppose the continuation of the blockade.
Abdullah Mashrah, head of the Guidance Sector, highlighted the commemoration's reflection of Yemenis' enduring bond with the Prophet Muhammad. He encouraged greater participation in the anniversary's activities, which include public events and community initiatives aimed at honoring the Prophet's legacy.
Cultural activist Mohammed Al-Ghurbani also addressed attendees, describing the occasion as a chance to promote the Prophet's teachings and values. Al-Ghurbani urged widespread public involvement in the commemorative activities to further engage the community in celebrating the Prophet's life and message.
