Dhamar Districts Revive Prophet’s Birthday With Cultural Events

Dhamar: Parties were held in Dhamar Governorate to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, may the best prayers and peace be upon him and his family.

According to Yemen News Agency, the National Women's Committee branch and the Center for Economic Consulting and Administrative Training at the College of Administrative Sciences at Dhamar University organized a cultural symposium for female students under the slogan "The Prophet's Birthday: An Important Foundation for Islamic Unity." Cultural evenings were also organized by the General Company for Potato Seed Production, and in the Central Square and the Military Police and Al-Rahma neighborhoods in Dhamar City. The education sector in Maghrib Ans District organized cultural and awareness-raising events and activities. An evening was also held in the Najah district, and a speech event was held by the district's security department to celebrate this great anniversary.

Members of the education sector considered the celebration of the birth of the Greatest Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) an affirmation of the Yemeni people's connection to the Prophet and his message. They emphasized the importance of this occasion as a platform for instilling faith identity and love for the Prophet in the hearts of young people. Participants in the evening and the event emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday strengthens the nation's love, loyalty, and belonging to the Master of Creation, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), whom Allah sent as a witness, bearer of good tidings, a warner, and a mercy to the worlds.

They called for the provision of military training and rehabilitation centers for the "Flood of Al-Aqsa" courses, and for readiness for any decisions taken by the leadership to support the battle of the promised conquest and holy jihad. In the Lower Wasab District, branches of the Tribal Affairs Authority, the Media Department, the Slaughterhouses Department, and the Finance Department organized public speaking events. Events were also held in the Bani Saleh, Al-Athlath, Bani Al-Azab, Al-Asalmah, and Murabba' Al-Ajraf districts. Meanwhile, the Mobilization Committee held preparatory meetings in the Misbah district and the Murabba' Al-Ajraf and Quwair districts.

The speeches addressed the significance of commemorating the occasion and its importance to the Yemeni people, reviewing milestones from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). They highlighted the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday in expressing love and loyalty to the Greatest Messenger, emulating his life, morals, and righteous approach, calling for greater expressions of joy and happiness on the occasion of the birth of the best of Allah's creation.

In addition, the Education Sector and the Higher Institute for Teachers branch in Jabal al-Sharq District organized a cultural and rhetorical event. Participants' speeches indicated that celebrating the Prophet's birthday is a renewal of loyalty and a counter to all attempts aimed at diminishing the status of the Noble Messenger and separating the nation from following and emulating its Prophet. They emphasized the role of educators and students in commemorating the occasion, enlightening generations and society about the Prophet's biography, and strengthening steadfastness and the triumph of the values of truth and justice brought by the Messenger of humanity. In the Anas District, a cultural event was organized in the village of al-Ashaw.

Participants emphasized the importance of this occasion as an educational and faith-based milestone, urging people to benefit from it by learning from the biography of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, reviving the values and principles of his message, and applying them in practice as a way of life. Two cultural parties were organized in the Dhi Hud and Ghuraban districts of Al Manar District. Meanwhile, the Security Department of Dhuran District organized a speech event, whose words expressed the significance of the occasion and the status of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in the hearts of Yemenis.

The party emphasized the importance of the anniversary as a unifying occasion that enhances the nation's awareness and faith identity, calling for participation in the weekly marches and the Al Aqsa Flood sessions, and preparing for the central event on the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal. The events and evenings, attended by local, executive, and mobilization leaders, included poetry, hymns, and folklore.
