Dhamar: The Agriculture Sector and the Rasabah Model Dairy Farm in Dhamar province organized a cultural event on Saturday to mark the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, Agriculture Sector Head Dr. Adel Omar highlighted the importance of commemorating the occasion by following the Prophet's life and example and drawing inspiration from his morals and values in confronting challenges. He emphasized that the occasion should reinforce social solidarity, encourage charity, cooperation, and mutual support.
Dr. Omar described celebrating the Prophet's birth as an expression of reverence and love for the Messenger of Mercy and a message of commitment to his Qur'anic path. He noted that the occasion provides an opportunity to strengthen faith and noble values, reflecting the Yemeni people's deep attachment to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
Dr. Omar called for expressing joy over the occasion, promoting the Prophet's values in daily life, expanding charitable initiatives, strengthening social solidarity, and preparing for the main celebration scheduled for the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
During the event, attended by Rasabah Dairy Farm Director Ali Al-Kabsi and Deputy Agriculture Sector Head Hafez Al-Junaid, cultural activist Ali Al-Kabsi reviewed aspects of the Prophet's character and the significance of commemorating his birth in strengthening faith-based identity, encouraging the nation to confront the challenges and threats it faces.
He stressed that celebrating the occasion renews loyalty to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) and inspires the values of patience, steadfastness, and resilience embodied in his life. He described the Prophet's biography as a comprehensive educational model that guides the nation toward dignity and honor.
Al-Kabsi added that the Yemeni people's observance of the occasion reflects the historic role of the Ansar in supporting the Prophet, emphasizing that it is not merely a historical anniversary but an opportunity to renew commitment to the values and principles he exemplified throughout his life.
