Dhamar Gov Districts Host Cultural Events for Al-Wilayah Day Commemorations

Dhamar: Several districts across Dhamar governorate on Thursday hosted cultural events to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah, emphasizing its significance as a foundational milestone for building a cohesive and strong nation.

According to Yemen News Agency, the events were organized by various sectors and local communities including Technical Education, Tourism, General Mobilization, and residents of numerous residential blocks and sub-districts. The events featured speeches that highlighted the Day of al-Wilayah as a pivotal moment in Islamic history.

Speakers at the events underscored the Prophet's declaration of Imam Ali's guardianship at Ghadir Khumm, asserting that this established a clear foundation for leadership, ensuring national unity and stability against challenges.

They emphasized that Ghadir Khumm conveyed a clear message about loyalty to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali, and adherence to his teachings as crucial for preserving national unity. The speakers stressed the nation's need to regain its status by returning to God and loyalty to His Messenger, Imam Ali, and "beacons of guidance."

The speakers reviewed Imam Ali's status, morals, and courage, urging attendees to draw lessons from his life. They attributed the Yemeni people's leading role in supporting the Palestinian people to their sincere devotion to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali.
