Dhamar: Dhamar governor Mohammed al-Bukhaiti honored Tuesday the winners of the summer school road race. The race was organized by the Sub-Committee for Summer Activities and Courses for the district champions.
According to Yemen News Agency, one hundred students representing nine districts participated in the race: Dhamar, Jahran, Ans, Mayfa'ah Ans, Jabal al-Sharq, Maghrib Ans, al-Hada, Dhuran, and al-Manar. They competed in two races: a 1500-meter race for younger students and a 3000-meter race for junior students.
The athletes from Jahran district dominated the junior category, winning all four top positions and claiming the overall team championship. Meanwhile, students from Dhamar district won the team championship in the younger students' race, securing five top positions.
At the conclusion of the race, al-Bukhaiti, along with Public Mobilization Officer Ahmed al-Dhurani, Youth and Sports Office Director Taysir Rawiya, and Deputy Education Sector Officers Saeed al-Ghabri and Ali al-Amadi, honored the winners of the top positions with medals and prizes as follows:

First: Mohammed Al-Wasabi - Jahran
Second: Ahmed Al-Areeq - Jahran
Third: Abdulkarim Al-Zubaidi - Jahran
Fourth: Hazem Al-Asoudi - Jahran
Fifth: Jarrah Al-Junadi - Jabal Al-Sharq

Younger Boys Race:
First: Ahmed Al-Muntasir - Dhamar
Second: Murad Al-Faisali - Dhamar
Third: Abdulrawaq Al-Masna'i - Al-Manar
Fourth: Hamza Imran - Dhamar
Fifth: Ayman Al-Miri - Dhamar
Sixth: Al-Muntasir Mansar - Dhamar
Seventh: Dhi Yazan al-Hijri - Mayfa'ah Ans
Eighth: Al-Banna' Nashwan - Mayfa'ah Ans
