Dhamar Hosts Central Event for Al-Sarkah Anniversary Commemoration

Dhamar: A central event was held on Tuesday in Dhamar Governorate to commemorate the anniversary of the slogan in the face of the arrogant powers. During the event, which was attended by a number of members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, members of the judiciary, deputy governors, as well as security leaders and academics, the official in charge of general mobilization in the governorate, Ahmed Al-Dourani, highlighted the significance of this occasion in recalling the martyr leader, Sayyed Hussein Bader al-Din al-Houthi, and the beginning of his movement through the Qur’anic project, as well as his launch of the slogan to confront American tyranny and the schemes of the Jews following the events of September 11.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Dourani explained that the ‘Martyr of the Qur’an’ moved with a sense of responsibility and carried the cause of the nation at a time when it had submitted to its enemies, noting that the slogan is derived from Qur’anic culture and represents a religious stance and a practical movement against the enemies of Allah, namely the Jews and Christians. Al-Dourani also addressed the challenges and campaigns that targeted the Qur’anic project, and how it has today become a practical project across various fields, placing Yemen at the forefront of the axis of jihad and resistance.

He stressed the need to raise awareness about the importance of the slogan, boycott American and Israeli goods, continue mobilization activities and military training courses, enhance readiness, and pay attention to summer courses while encouraging students to enroll in them.

He pointed out that the strength and resilience Yemen has achieved today are among the outcomes of the Qur’anic project.
