Dhamar: The General Authority for Lands, Survey and Urban Planning branch in Dhamar held a cultural event on Wednesday to commemorate the anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed's birth.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Mahmoud Al-Jabeen stated that the occasion is among the greatest religious events and deserves special attention through honoring the Prophet's life, values, and noble struggle against oppression and arrogance. He underscored the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birth in strengthening the Islamic nation's identity and unity amid challenges targeting its faith and values, stressing the need to draw lessons from the Prophet's morals and teachings.
The branch director, Abdulghani Al-Dailami, remarked that the celebration revives the virtuous values brought by the Prophet and reflects Yemenis' deep connection to his message and guidance. He emphasized the importance of following the Prophet's ethics and principles as a way of improving society and called for active participation in anniversary events to express love and respect for the Prophet.
