Dhamar: The Public Works Office in Dhamar province organized a speech event on Saturday to mark the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Mohammed Abdulrazzaq emphasized the importance of commemorating the occasion by reflecting on the Prophet's life, virtues, and morals, encouraging people to follow his example in both words and deeds. He highlighted that the Yemeni people's celebration of this occasion demonstrates their deep attachment to Islam and the Prophet, urging broad participation in the central event on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal.
Deputy Director of the Public Works Office, Eng. Waseem Al-Khaywani, remarked that this year's commemoration coincides with Yemen and its leadership's ongoing struggle for liberation, independence, and an end to aggression and blockade. He noted that the office's staff remain committed to applying the Prophet's values in their work, viewing the occasion as an opportunity to strengthen faith and renew commitment to the Prophet's message and values of justice, mercy, and freedom.
Deputy Head of the Culture Sector, Ali Al-Aoush, discussed aspects of the Prophet's biography and his special place in the hearts of Muslims, particularly Yemenis. He noted that commemorating the Prophet's birthday reflects Yemenis' love for the Prophet and their commitment to his principles, calling for the occasion to be translated into practical action by promoting his message, morals, and legacy.
