Dhamar Reports 97% Job Discipline in Public Service Units Post-Eid

Dhamar: Dhamar undersecretaries Mahmoud al-Jubain and Mohammed Abdulrazzaq, accompanied by Civil Service Sector Director Essam al-Omaisi, inspected job discipline in various public service units in Dhamar governorate on the second official workday following the Eid al-Adha holiday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the inspections included branches of the Postal and Savings Authority, Martyrs' Families Care Authority, Water Resources and Facilities Authority, General Telecommunications Corporation, Public Works Authority, Youth and Sports Office, and the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund. The Civil Service Sector Director reported that these units exhibited a 97% job discipline rate.

The undersecretaries acknowledged the high level of commitment, stressing the importance of community service, timely transaction handling, and minimizing bureaucratic procedures. They also appreciated the efforts of agencies whose staff continued their field duties during the Eid holiday, with particular mention of cleaning and communications teams.

Furthermore, the undersecretaries emphasized the need for legal action against staff who fail to comply with regulations, except in cases of valid exceptions. They noted that the inspections are ongoing, rather than seasonal, with the goal of improving monitoring and evaluation processes.
