Sana'a: His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, affirmed Yemen's solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran in its right to defend its sovereignty and deter aggressors.

According to Yemen News Agency, President Al-Mashat stated, "There is no international charter that authorizes anyone to unleash their rabid dog on whomever they wish. The United Nations Charter is the governing contract for relations between nations, and we will not allow it to be violated." He emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity of the UN Charter to prevent the world from descending into chaos dominated by might rather than diplomacy.

He highlighted the obligation of certain countries to uphold international peace and security, rather than engage in acts of aggression or interference in the sovereignty of other nations. President Al-Mashat warned that if these principles were ignored, the global community could face a future where only power dictates survival.

President Al-Mashat urged peace-loving nations to speak out against Zionist expansionism to prevent its spread across the globe. He called for collective action in accordance with the UN Charter to stop aggression against Iran and other nations in the region, aiming to achieve peace and security.

In his concluding remarks, President Al-Mashat pointed out the necessity for nations to reinforce the UN Charter, stating that the misuse of this international framework by its protectors compels Yemen and other nations to take measures to ensure global peace and security.
