Dhamar: The Dhamar governorate Security Department organized a speech event to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, highlighting the deep connection between the Yemeni people and the Prophet.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water, Adel Bader, emphasized the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday as an expression of love and a model to follow. He acknowledged the historical support Yemenis have provided to Islam and the Prophet Muhammad. Bader also noted Yemen's supportive stance towards the Palestinian cause and its emerging regional influence.
Bader urged the people of the province to participate in the central event for the Prophet's birthday and praised the security forces for their efforts in maintaining safety and organizing events. Governor Muhammad al-Bukhaiti echoed these sentiments, stressing that ongoing conflict and siege would not hinder the celebration of this religious occasion.
Prominent attendees included members of the House of Representatives, the Shura Council, and other key officials. Al-Bukhaiti pointed out the historical connection between Yemenis and the Prophet Muhammad, criticizing foreign interventions in Yemen's affairs. He urged fighters to return to the national fold, highlighting a proposed initiative for reconciliation and dialogue.
Provincial security director, Brigadier General Mohammed al-Mahdi, emphasized the Yemenis' devotion to the Prophet and their historical role in supporting Islam. He highlighted that commemorating the Prophet's birthday is a continuation of the legacy of the Ansar, emphasizing values of support and steadfastness in the face of challenges.
