Dhamar: Celebrations commemorating the birth of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace, continued in the districts of Dhamar Governorate. In the Anis district, the district's security department and branches of the Public Works, Endowments, and Taxes offices organized two events, while cultural evenings were also organized in the villages of Qabatil, Wardasan, and Qarra.
According to Yemen News Agency, in the Mayfa'ah Ains district, the security department organized a speech event, and evenings were held for the Poets Union branch, in the village of Bayt Al-Sabari in the Sayla Zabid sub-district, and in the village of Hisn Qadeed. Meanwhile, an armed popular march was organized in the Al-Jarsha sub-district in loyalty and reverence to the Messenger of Allah and in support of Gaza. In the Wasab Al Ali District, events and evenings were organized in the Al-Qadmah district, the 26th of September complex in Ja'ar, the Al-Kalbiyyin Bani Al-Haddad sub-districts, Ijbar Awali, and Al-Asadi in the Ja'ar sub-district, and the Al-Sharika in the Al-Hillah village of the Al-Jabjab sub-district, and at the Al-Ta'awun School for the surrounding schools. A preparatory meeting was held in the Al-Qadmah district of the Al-Dhaher village.
In the city of Dhamar, evening events were held in various neighborhoods and mosques, as well as a singing festival in the Al-Kamb square in the western sector. In Jabal Al Sharq District, the Executive Office discussed preparations for participation in the central event. Schools and various organizations in the Al Sharq City Sector organized cultural and public speaking events. Teachers and students from schools in Al Sharq City also organized a cultural and public speaking festival, with an evening held in the Imam Al Hassan neighborhood.
In Maghrib Ans District, events were held in several complexes and villages, with cultural and public speaking events organized in multiple districts. Mobilization committees held meetings to prepare for the celebration of the Prophet's birthday and discussed preparations for light marches marking this momentous occasion.
In Jahran District, various branches organized a cultural event, while the Education Sector in Atmah District organized a student march. Al-Salam School in the Hawiz District organized a public speaking event with participation from schools and community members. In Al Manar District, a light parade of cars decorated with green lights illuminated the district's sky.
Furthermore, various departments and organizations in the governorate organized cultural and speech evenings. The Education Sector and related organizations coordinated a cultural symposium, while other branches organized speech events. Festivals and broadcasts were held in schools across the districts, with buildings and public streets decorated with green lights.
The speeches at the events and evenings, attended by representatives, members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, directors of offices and directorates, and social figures, expressed joy and happiness at the approaching anniversary of the birth of the light and the importance of commemorating this great religious occasion. They called for learning from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), emulating his noble morals, and following his approach in upholding the religion, confronting the enemies of the nation, and supporting the oppressed in Gaza. A large turnout was urged at the two central events on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, in the Great Prophet Square in Dhamar City and the Mahsuba area in the Wasab District. The events included poetry, hymns, and folk songs.
