Evenings in Ma’in District of Capital Secretariat in Celebration of Prophet’s Birthday

Ma'in district: The Ma'in District in the Capital Secretariat witnessed festive community evenings marking the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). Residents of Ammar bin Yasir neighborhood in the Western Ring area organized a cultural evening, during which Shura Council member Yahya Jahaf affirmed that celebrating the Prophet's birthday reflects the deep connection of Yemenis with their Prophet, their commitment to following his path, and their adherence to his noble example.

According to Yemen News Agency, Shura Council member Yahya Jahaf highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birth as an opportunity to draw lessons from his noble life and character, reinforcing the Islamic identity and strengthening resilience within society to confront global forces of tyranny and oppression. The event, attended by Shura Council member Khaled Al-Sayaghi along with community leaders, sheikhs, and social figures, also featured remarks from neighborhood representatives Saleh Al-Munsi and cultural activist Abu Hidaya Al-Matari. They emphasized the importance of reviving this great occasion to strengthen ties with the Prophet, uphold authentic Islamic values, and embody his principles and teachings in all aspects of life.

The evening included religious chants and poetry reflecting the greatness of the occasion and the virtue of celebrating it. Similarly, residents of several neighborhoods-including Abdulrahman Al-Ghafiqi in the Qubba area, Al-Sadd, Abu Al-Hasan Al-Hamdani, and Al-Noor in Shamlan, as well as Al-Salam Al-Shamaliya, Al-Firqa Association, Rahq, and Wadi Al-Balas in Sanina-organized 'Prophetic evenings' in celebration of the blessed birth of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family).

The gatherings featured speeches, cultural segments, and recitations of religious poetry and chants expressing the profound love of Yemenis for the Prophet, his elevated status in their hearts, and their joy in commemorating his noble birth. Participants stressed the importance of marking the anniversary of the Master of Humanity and Seal of the Prophets, who brought the nation from darkness into light, and called for continued participation in widespread celebrations and mobilization for the central event on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
