Dhamar: Tribes from Maghrib Ans District in Dhamar Governorate held a large armed tribal gathering on Monday, responding to a call by Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and declaring general mobilization and readiness to end what they described as the aggression, occupation, and blockade. Participants, carrying their weapons and equipment, reaffirmed their commitment to continue mobilization, support the frontlines with fighters, funds, and supplies, while standing alongside the armed forces to secure the Yemeni people's rights and restore national resources.
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the gathering said the tribal mobilization reflected the unity, national awareness, and readiness of the district's tribes to fulfill their responsibilities during the current stage. They stressed that the tribes have consistently supported national causes, called for greater solidarity, preparedness, and public awareness to confront challenges and safeguard Yemen's sovereignty and independence.
A statement issued at the event announced the continuation of general mobilization, training, and preparedness programs, urging broader participation in military and qualification courses. The statement emphasized strengthening national unity, social cohesion, and preparedness to reinforce Yemen's resilience and its ability to respond to future developments. It also reaffirmed support for the Revolution Leader's recent statement, endorsing any decisions he deems appropriate to end the aggression and blockade and restore what it described as the Yemeni people's legitimate rights.
The statement further condemned crimes against the Palestinian people and attacks targeting Lebanon, Iran, and Yemen, while expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people. It also called for maintaining national unity and raising both official and public readiness to confront upcoming challenges.
