Sana'a: The General Directorate for Women at the Ministry of Oil and Minerals organized a cultural seminar today commemorating Ashura and the martyrdom of Imam Zayd (peace be upon them). During the seminar, Balqis Al-Jarmouzi, Director of the General Directorate for Women at the Ministry, emphasized the importance of holding such awareness-raising events, especially given the current circumstances, due to their significance in introducing the guiding figures of Islam.
According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar aimed to foster a deeper understanding of Islamic heritage and the influential figures within it. The event underscored the need for continued cultural education and awareness, particularly among women in the ministry, to enhance their appreciation of historical and religious narratives that shape their identity and values.
