Dhamar Tribes Declare Readiness to End Aggression & Blockade

Sana'a: Tribes from Jabal Al-Sharq District in Dhamar province held an armed tribal gathering on Saturday, declaring general mobilization, readiness to end what they described as aggression, occupation, and blockade. Speaking at the event, attended by local officials and tribal leaders, officials said the large turnout reflected the tribes' response to the leadership's call for mobilization and praised the district's support for front-line forces.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants called on the tribes of Dhamar province to remain fully prepared to respond to future directives. Tribal representatives reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the armed forces with fighters and resources. The district director said the gathering was intended to demonstrate readiness to reinforce military ranks rather than serve as a display of force, adding that the district possessed the manpower and equipment needed to carry out the leadership's decisions.

A final statement issued at the gathering expressed full support for the recent speech of the movement's leader marking the Islamic New Year, endorsed calls to end the aggression, blockade, reaffirmed readiness to confront any escalation by Israel and the United States against Gaza or other fronts. The statement also urged Yemeni tribes to unite, safeguard the domestic front, strengthen mobilization efforts, and join military training programs to enhance preparedness.
